Getting Started with Bimeco: Your Guide to Outsourced BIM Services
Whether you're converting old PDFs to CAD or modeling from a point cloud, Bimeco's digital delivery platform helps you manage your BIM & CAD workflows with ease. Follow this guide to get started:
1. Create an Account

If you're a first-time user, start by creating an account on the Bimeco portal.
Existing users can skip ahead to the next step.
2. Start Your First Project

Click the "+" icon on the bottom right of the dashboard to create a new project.
Each project gets its own folder so files stay organized and our team can track progress efficiently. This setup ensures clarity from start to finish.
3. Requirements Gathering

When creating your project, fill out the Project Description to help us understand your needs.
Typical requests include:
- 📄 Converting PDF files into editable CAD drawings
- 🏗️ Updating BIM models based on CAD files
- 🧱 Developing detailed BIM models from point-cloud scans
- ⏱️ Integrating project schedules with BIM models for 4D simulations
- ...and more!
4. Upload Project Files
You can upload various formats:
- 2D Files:
.dwg,.dgn,.pdf - 3D/BIM Models:
.rvt,.pln,.ifc,.dgn
Once uploaded, a dedicated BIM Manager will review your files and align our deliverables with your project timeline.
5. Review Our Work

All deliverables will be uploaded to the Deliverables folder inside your project.
