BIM Backend Developer

About This Role

Join our DevOps team as a BIM Backend Developer to build integrations and backend systems for construction technology platforms. You will develop C# plugins for Revit and Navisworks, integrate with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Forma APIs, work with Bentley's iTwin platform, and build backend services for BIM data processing. This role combines software development expertise with deep knowledge of BIM workflows and construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit plugins and automation tools using C# and Revit API
• Integrate with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, and Forma APIs
• Build backend services for iTwin.js digital twin applications using Node.js
• Process and transform IFC files, BCF workflows, and COBie data
• Develop REST APIs for BIM data extraction and project analytics
• Implement Navisworks and Civil 3D automation using C# .NET APIs
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for BIM data storage and processing
• Integrate with ProjectWise and other Bentley infrastructure platforms
• Build data pipelines for BIM model versioning and change tracking

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience with BIM/AEC focus
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework for Revit API development
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360 APIs
• Knowledge of Revit API, Navisworks API, or Civil 3D API
• Understanding of IFC file formats, BCF workflows, and BIM data standards
• Experience with Node.js or Python for backend API development
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
